Hillsborough County, in collaboration with the Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM), is launching the first Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) to assist locals affected by the recent series of hurricanes that caused significant disruption across the region, the center is directly responding to the needs of those who have endured the impacts of Hurricanes Milton, Helene, and Debby, aiming to serve as a hub for recovery.

The newly established MARC at Town ‘N Country Regional Public Library, located at 7606 Paula Dr #120 in Tampa, will extend its services through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is prepared to address the various needs of individuals, families, and businesses affected by the recent hurricanes. Assistance with completing necessary applications may provide the support needed to help them recover and rebuild.

Representatives from various federal, state, and regional partners, along with non-profit organizations, will be onsite to provide guidance, ensuring that those seeking to rebuild their lives and livelihoods disrupted by the storms have unhindered access to a comprehensive range of resources, according to the announcement from Hillsborough County officials.

Additionally, as part of its commitment to facilitate a smooth recovery journey, the county has set up an online repository of local, state, and national resources available at HCFL.gov/StormRecovery, these are collected resources that propound assistance covering a broad spectrum of needs from immediate physical aid to long-term financial planning, they're kept available throughout the recovery process, a digital compendium in support of the MARC's physical outreach efforts.
