
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are currently investigating a case classified as a homicide that occurred in the southwest area of Charlotte, authorities were called to the scene along Peachtree Drive, adjacent to Interstate 77, after a corpse was discovered Monday afternoon, as reported by WBTV.
The incident said to have taken place around 2 p.m., is surrounded by a dearth of details - the nature of the homicide, the identity of the victim, and information regarding potential suspects or arrests have not been disclosed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department despite their earlier statement given around 2:15 p.m., as mentioned by QC News.
A witness walking her dog discovered a body in the woods, with the event reported around 11:30 a.m., according to an anonymous local petsitter interviewed by WCNC Charlotte.
