Following a call concerning a suspicious car, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office apprehended a man on possession charges earlier this week. On Monday, residents of the 2900 block of Rustling Chestnut Street reported the dubious vehicle, prompting the response. According to the constable's social media announcement, upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement identified the driver as Victor Garduno.
The ensuing investigation led to a discovery that positioned Garduno in a tight spot. Officers found him in the possession of cocaine. As detailed in the constable's Facebook post, "Victor Garduno was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 482nd District Court."
His future court dates are yet to be scheduled.
