Houston police have intensified their search as they work to identify two suspects linked to a recent fatal shooting. In a statement released to the public, the police describe the suspects as two Hispanic males, estimated to be between the ages of 16 and 20, both dressed in black hoodies. The tragic incident occurred on Sunday, October 20, at approximately 4:20 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 7575 Office City Drive.
Details about the suspects have been shared in the hopes that members of the community might aid the investigation. The first suspect is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a skinny build, outfitted in black pants and white shoes. An accompanying suspect matches a smaller stature, standing close to 5 feet, 8 inches, and featuring a medium build with medium length curly black hair, a blue T-shirt under his hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes. Surveillance photos capturing the suspects have been released in conjunction with the news release by the City of Houston.
The identity of the 24-year-old victim is currently withheld, to be disclosed once verified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Detectives P. Michon and C. Davidson from the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation and were quoted in a news release by the City of Houston stating, "Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found a male unresponsive in the front passenger side of a vehicle." The officers' discovery revealed that the victim had suffered at least one gunshot wound, and despite the swift action of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
