On the morning of Sunday, June 23, an individual entered the store located on the 6700 block of W. Tidwell and forcibly took lottery tickets before pushing the store clerk to the ground when she confronted him, as reported by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division.
The suspect, a black male wearing a dark-colored polo and light-colored shorts, fled the scene in an unspecified direction following the incident. As the clerk tried to prevent the theft, the assault occurred, making this a robbery by force. Houston Police Department case number 901290-24 has been assigned to the investigation, and authorities are currently examining all available leads.
