Authorities in Houston are on the lookout for a man accused of a late night armed robbery at a local convenience store. The suspect, still at large, reportedly stormed into a store on the 6700 block of W. Tidwell around 12:30 am on October 9 and, while brandishing a handgun tucked in his waistband, demanded the register's cash in Spanish, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
Fearing for their safety, the clerk complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The Houston Police have launched an appeal for public assistance in capturing the individual identified as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years old, of light brown complexion, with black hair, and a noticeable tattoo on the right side of his neck.
He was last seen wearing a yellow long sleeve pullover, light-colored blue jeans, and black shoes, the suspect barely stands between 5’5 and 5’6 tall. The robbery division detailed, and tips that lead to the suspect's charging and/or arrest might fetch up to a $5,000 reward.
