Authorities are actively searching for a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man at a gas station in Houston earlier this month. The Houston Police Department (HPD) identified Imran Ahmed Davis, 27, as the charged suspect in the murder and aggravated assault of Bradric Kuykendall, which took place on October 1.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:25 a.m. at 12303 Hillcroft Avenue, where HPD officers responded to a shooting call. Upon arrival, they discovered a male with gunshot wounds, quickly transported by paramedics to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. It was later determined to be Mr. Kuykendall, who was believed to have been involved in an altercation with Davis at a nearby location. Davis is reported to have followed Kuykendall to the station before firing multiple shots and fleeing the scene, as detailed by the City of Houston News.
Yesterday, charges were filed against Davis in the 337th State District Court. Details about the charges were released in a news release issued by the HPD, accompanied by a 2020 booking photo of Davis, who remains at large. The release states, "Investigators learned Kuykendall and the suspect were involved in an altercation at a nearby location."
