
An Indiana man faces charges after an incident in Stark County where he allegedly attempted to entice a four-year-old boy into his car in exchange for money. The event occurred at around 6:45 p.m. yesterday outside a Sheetz gas station on the 2900 block of Whipple Ave NW, as reported by Cleveland19. Jackson Township police were alerted to a suspicious individual. Upon arrival, they discovered that 41-year-old Adam Prather of Indiana had approached the child, who was with his father then.
According to the police department's press release and as confirmed by a report from FOX8, Prather's approach was seen as an attempt to lure the minor into his vehicle, after which he was arrested and is now facing a child enticement charge. The father and son were together during the incident, and the child sustained no injuries.
