On Tuesday, a stolen vehicle report brought deputies to the Target on the North Freeway, initiating a chain of events that led to a foot chase and the arrest of two juveniles. According to the Facebook announcement made by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the officers quickly located the stolen vehicle parked at the commercial locale.
The investigation swiftly revealed that the driver and three other suspects had made their way into the store moments earlier. Upon attempting to engage, the driver and a female accomplice took flight. Following a brief pursuit, authorities arrested the pair: a 15-year-old male and, a 13-year-old female with a prior record consisting of theft and evading arrest.
Additional information surrounding the incident and the suspects' prior involvements was not disclosed, likely due to their juvenile status. However, the constable's confirmation was clear and direct on the repercussions facing the pair. "Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. The juvenile male was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and the juvenile female was charged with Escape," outlined Constable Mark Herman's statement in a Facebook post.
