According to News3LV, police were called to the area near Webb Avenue and Davis Place, close to Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, around 12:30 a.m. upon reports of gunshots.
Shortly thereafter, North Vista Hospital, located approximately a mile from the reported shootings, notified the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD) that a juvenile had arrived with a gunshot injury that proved fatal, as the individual was pronounced dead at the hospital, the facility lies not far from the initial crime scene, reflecting the proximity of violence to places of healing.
