Charlotte authorities have made a pivotal arrest in connection to a recent homicide, charging a 17-year-old individual, whose anonymity is preserved due to their juvenile status. The arrest occurred without incident during the afternoon of October 4, the CMPD's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) successfully located and detained the suspect. Post-arrest, the young suspect was taken to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) in Uptown, 601 E. Trade St., where they were subsequently transferred to the North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
