The LakeCities Ballet Theatre is gearing up to dramatically stake its claim on the Halloween season with multiple performances of "Le Ballet de Dracula", an original ballet penned by Tom Rutherford and breathing with life through the choreographic vein of LBT Artistic Director, Kelly Kilburn Lannin. It's not often we get to witness a seasonal blend of fine arts and the spookier edge of folklore. Performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, and a two-show Saturday with curtains rising at 2:30 p.m. and later at 7:30 p.m. at the Huffines Performance Hall, Lewisville Grand Theater, with details obtained by the City of Lewisville.
For anyone with a thirst for art and a love for the ghostly ghouls of Halloween, the $25 General Admission tickets can be conjured up at lakecitiesballet.org. Since its inception, this eerie extravaganza has quickly spectered itself as a Halloween classic in the local community.
Anchoring its spectral sails in cultural development, LakeCities Ballet Theatre is also as recognition worthy as one of eight local beneficiaries of cultural funding from the City of Lewisville, aiming to consistently enrich the community with cultural and fine arts experiences.
