
A shooting in LaPlace on Monday night has led to the arrest of a local man. The incident took place in the 2400 block of Williamsburg Drive, where deputies swiftly responded to an emergency call at approximately 6:20 p.m. They arrived to discover an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his ankle on a porch.
