This community-focused presentation, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, aims to shine a spotlight on the latest fraudulent schemes and provide attendees with the necessary tools to shield themselves and their loved ones.

Set to take place in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, located at 200 E. Picacho Ave, easily accessible via Roadrunner Transit Route 1. The event emerges as a beacon of hope for those who've found themselves targeted by, or fallen victim to, deceptive offers and identity theft. Attendees are set not only to learn but also to actively engage in discussions about fraud trends and receive prime prevention tips directly from the experts at the AARP Fraud Watch Network according to the City of Las Cruces.

Anyone entangled in the web of fraud or seeking to better safeguard their personal information has been encouraged to attend this free educational session. The AARP Fraud Watch Network prides itself on empowering consumers through education, providing people with the knowledge necessary to better detect and prevent scams effectively.
