
League City is opening registration for winter sports and activities this week. Starting Wednesday, October 2, at 8 a.m., residents can sign up for basketball and cheerleading. The basketball season runs from December 2 to March 2, while cheerleading ends on February 28, according to a release on the League City official website.
Basketball and cheerleading enthusiasts can register online or in person at Hometown Heroes Park. Non-residents can start signing up on Wednesday, October 16, two weeks after residents. League City is also opening registration for youth recreational programs on Wednesday, October 9, at 8 a.m. Residents can sign up for activities like art, tennis, fencing, martial arts, and more to keep kids active and creative during the winter.
Non-residents can register for youth programs starting Wednesday, October 23. They can sign up online or in person at Hometown Heroes Park. Parents are encouraged to plan ahead and take advantage of these activities to keep kids engaged during the winter months.
