The initial investigation, still under the Traffic Safety Section's purview, indicates that a 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy collided with a 2023 Toyota Camry attempting a left turn onto Hammonds Ferry Road North. Riding northbound, the motorcycle struck the left side of the Camry. With life-threatening injuries, the motorcycle's driver, a 34-year-old man from Glen Burnie, was rushed to University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, both victims were wearing helmets at the collision time.

The Camry's driver, a 75-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision. Transported, as well as a 14-year-old girl, the motorcycle's passenger, who also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
