The initial call, which referred to a suicide attempt, brought law enforcement to the scene around 9:39 p.m., upon their arrival, they encountered a male and an elderly female, each with gunshot wounds ultimately, neither survived and were declared deceased at the residence, in a statement obtained by 8 News Now, LVMPD's preliminary investigation suggests that the male individual shot the female before taking his own life.

The identity of both victims along with the official cause and manner of death are pending release by the Clark County Coroner’s Office, as is the standard procedure in such cases.
