Their efforts proved effective, for the suspect was apprehended shortly after the incident. Despite the search's urgency, and the myriad of possible destinations, authorities managed to trace and arrest the alleged assailant without much delay.
The victim, whose identity has been kept confidential, was quickly transported to a local hospital where he received medical attention for his wounds. Thankfully, he is on the path to recovery and is expected to fully heal from the traumatic experience.
