A daylight shooting has rattled the Northeast District community after a 38-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery on E. 35th Street, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The incident, which occurred yesterday, left the victim with gunshot wounds to the leg following a confrontation with assailants described as "individuals" attempting to rob him.
The shooting happened around 4:46 p.m. A man who was hurt escaped to his home and was later taken to a hospital by medics. When police arrived, they saw medical staff treating him.
