Mansfield Commission for the Arts has unveiled its latest contribution to public art with The Fluxum Experience, a mobile art installation that seeks to engage the community in new and dynamic ways. Conceived by artists Madison Mask and the team of Morgan & Eric Grasham, this innovative piece of interactive art made its first scheduled stop during the Haunt the Block festivities in Historic Downtown Mansfield yesterday.
The mobility of the installation allows the Arts Commission to directly bring artistic expression to varied locations, reaching a broader audience. "Introducing our first mobile art installation: The Fluxum Experience," proclaims the Mansfield Commission for the Arts in a recent social media post. The project is slated to also appear at the Fall Fest Trunk or Treat event on October 20 at the Mansfield Church of Christ on Pleasant Ridge Drive. To 'Keep an eye out for more stops,' the commission signals its intention to diversify the locales and occasions where the installation will be featured.
