The City of Mansfield, Texas, is paving the way for a new family-friendly entertainment hub with the ceremonial turning of the first shovels of earth. The City of Mansfield's official social media announced that High 5 Entertainment is set to bring a mix of leisure activities ranging from bowling and laser tag to mini golf and a rooftop setting for live music to the Staybolt District, with an expected opening in December 2025.
Located along 360, just south of Hawaiian Falls and the Mansfield Sports Park, High 5 Entertainment aims to flesh out the entertainment options in the area. The project, which includes the Staybolt Live music venue, is described by Scott Emley, President of High 5 and Staybolt Live, as "nothing like this in the country." Emley's vision is for a versatile destination that will not only cater to Mansfield locals but also draw in tourists and concertgoers, as per the City of Mansfield.
Feedback from the community has shown a strong desire for more diverse options in dining, shopping, and entertainment, with the last community survey indicating a clear majority. The mayor of Mansfield, Michael Evans, voiced the community's enthusiasm, per the City of Mansfield, "Residents of all ages should be excited to get a place to play, have fun, and create memories here in Mansfield," in a display of support for local development and family recreation.
