Under the new directive, a Capital Planning Steering Committee will be formed, consolidating multiple existing groups working on the public right-of-way. This committee is tasked with creating a charter within 60 days to outline their roles, objectives, and decision-making processes, and it's anticipated that this streamlining will bear fruit in the form of better project outcomes and reduced project costs.
