An ongoing drug trafficking investigation led to the announcement.

According to the details released by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, on Tuesday, the Commerce Police Department, in joint operation with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), executed a search warrant at a property located in the 5000 block of Crossing Place in Commerce, Georgia. In the course of the raid, authorities were able to seize firearms alongside substantial amounts of drugs, to include MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, THC concentrate, marijuana, and drug-related paraphernalia.

The press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation urges community members who have information related to drug activities to come forward.
