According to WTAE, Gene Brown, 28, faces a slew of charges, including attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault, after a confrontation that began inside a residence and spilled into the streets.
As per police reports, an altercation occurred inside a home on Lake Street, where a woman in her twenties managed to shoot Brown in the stomach. The dispute then continued outside, with Brown gaining control of the gun and reportedly begun pistol-whipping the woman. A man driving by became an unintended victim, shot by Brown while witnessing the domestic dispute. Found shot in the neck and unable to feel his fingers or toes, the victim then made his way to a Sunoco Gas Station to report the incident.
