Griffin, the vulnerable adult reported missing just days prior. Griffin had last been seen at his residence on the 3200 block of Thomas Av N at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024.
Described as a 5'10" tall black man, weighing about 180 lbs., bald, with brown eyes and tattoos on his neck, arms, and hands, Griffin had been reported as last seen wearing black pajama pants. The Minneapolis Police Department had made a public appeal, through social media and other channels, asking anyone with information on Griffin's whereabouts to come forward. They provided contact details including a dedicated tips email, a voicemail line, as well as the CrimeStoppers number for anonymous information.
