Vazquez, who suffers from short-term memory loss, was last seen on October 6 in the vicinity of the 1000 block of East Centerville Road around 8:00 pm. His condition had raised concerns about his safety and well-being. Efforts to find Mr. Vazquez had been ongoing since his disappearance, with the Garland Police Department leading the search. The public had been urged to come forward with any information that might have helped to safely locate Mr. Vazquez.
Described as a Hispanic male, standing at 5'7" and weighing approximately 130 pounds, he has brown eyes and black hair. Details of his last known appearance include a gray polo shirt, jeans, a red rosary necklace, gray "Crocs", and a distinctive tattoo with the name "Jose" on his right hand. These details were disseminated in the hopes of aiding the public in identifying him.
