A man was arrested after allegedly taking unauthorized photographs beneath a woman's skirt while she was shopping at a local business in Moreno Valley. The incident, which occurred on October 27, was promptly reported to the authorities and, following a confrontation by other patrons, the suspect tried to leave the establishment, according to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Jose Antonio Gutierrez of Homeland, was contacted by deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station shortly after the event but was initially released, it wasn’t until after a follow-up investigation and a successful location of the victim that investigators obtained a search warrant for Gutierrez's residence where several electronic items were seized, the deputies served this warrant on October 30 at a residence on Calamity Lane, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office reported.

Following the search, Gutierrez was arrested and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges related to invasion of privacy, stated the Sheriff's Office. The ongoing investigation is seeking public assistance to identify any additional victims that may have been affected by Gutierrez's actions.
