A severe traffic collision between a motorcycle and a Ford vehicle in Foothill Farms resulted in critical injuries and a dramatic vehicle fire on Monday evening. The California Highway Patrol shared that the accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of Roseville Road and Tacomic Drive, according to KCRA.
In the chaotic aftermath, a man believed to be in his 30s was ejected from his motorcycle after impacting the Ford, which was executing a left turn onto Tacomic Drive. Soon after the collision, both the motorcycle, and the Ford were engulfed in flames. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital bearing major injuries, ABC 10 reported.
The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 60s, sustained minor injuries in the incident. Authorities have ruled out DUI as a contributing factor to this crash. The condition of the motorcyclist, who suffered severe trauma in the event, remains a matter of grave concern.
