Metropolitan Police Department urges community action in the wake of a recent burglary on H Street, putting a spotlight on crime in Northeast DC. MPD officials reported an early morning incident on October 13, where unidentified suspects gained forced entry into a local business around 5:27 a.m., grabbing property and then making a hasty exit from the premises.
The business, which resides in the 1300 block of H Street Northeast, now counts its losses, and the police have made it the public's business, fishing for information that could lead to the capture and indictment of the suspects behind the commercial heist, MPD is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that could help close the case, according to the same police report.
