The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for three individuals connected to an armed robbery that occurred in the Southwest region of the District. The crime took place yesterday, with suspects reportedly confronting a lone victim around 1:55 a.m. in the 600 block of Maine Avenue Southwest.
Brandishing a firearm, the suspects demanded the victim's belongings, according to a statement made by the MPD's news release, before proceeding to vacate the crime scene. The suspects, still at large, are the subject of a community-wide search to assist the MPD in their capture.
