The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is turning to the public in an appeal for fresh leads on a trio of unsolved cases, each with its own set of unnerving details. Authorities are seeking any information that could "lead to a resolution". Justice for the victims and their grieving families hangs in the balance.

First on the list is an unidentified adult male, known only as John Doe, whose skeletal remains were discovered in Fairview, Oregon on March 19, as reported by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. Forensic analysis suggests these bones had been interred for no less than nine months. Peculiar medical features, such as prior rib fractures, an additional vertebra, and unerupted wisdom teeth, could be key in identifying him.

Another case involves Jeremy Gurtner, last seen alive on Valentine's Day 2022. He met an untimely demise, with estimations stating he had been deceased anywhere between four days to three weeks before he was found, as detailed by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. Gurtner was known to frequent Portland's Parkrose neighborhood, and detectives believe that details from locals could ignite new leads in the case.

The third case dates back even further, to June 27, 1990, when Krista DeLa Rosa vanished. A friend reported seeing DeLa Rosa with a young Black man believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age on SE 130th Avenue and SE Division Street. She was last seen in a vehicle described as a cream-colored 1983-1988 Oldsmobile or Ford Toronado with a vinyl top.

The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office invites anyone with information to step forward, no matter how insignificant it might seem, and help weave these fragmented histories into whole truths.
