A 28-year-old Nashville man identified as Edin Delacruz-Reyes lost his life in a shooting incident this past weekend. The incident unfolded behind an auto sales business at 1320 Gallatin Pike South in Madison. According to WSMV, the Metro Nashville Police Department reported that the victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds last Saturday night.
Police stated that a small group of men had reportedly gathered at the back parking lot of the business where the incident occurred. The discussion amongst these individuals turned fatal when an argument sparked and shots were fired. NewsChannel5 shared that Delacruz-Reyes was shot and later died after being transported to Skyline Medical Center.
The Metro Nashville Police have yet to determine the motive behind the shooting and are diligently investigating the matter. Officials are urging anyone with information about the shooting to step forward, Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 cash reward in homicide cases.
