Yesterday afternoon, a father and son engaged in a weekend fishing trip interrupted by an unforeseen spectacle – the sight of a body floating in the Whites Creek area, according to Metro Nashville police reports. The pair quickly contacted emergency services, summoning law enforcement to the grim scene off County Hospital Road.
Local authorities described the deceased as an unidentified Black male, his years estimated between the zones of 30 and 40, Metro Nashville police clarified, stating the body bore no "obvious signs of trauma." The investigative teams, including crime scene investigators, were observed on-site by WSMV4. Yet, for now, the length of time the man's body had been adrift remains unknown.
