A Nashville woman has been charged in connection with the distribution of sexually explicit material involving minors. Letha Milton-Walker, 44, was taken into custody after an investigation linked her email and residence to messages sent via the online platform Kik, as reported by FOX 17. The material, which included images and videos of children, led to Milton-Walker facing two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.
The WSMV indicates the explicit content was shared through a Kik account, which detectives connected back to Milton-Walker's email. Arrested in her apartment on North 12th Street, the suspect is held on an $80,000 bond. Strikingly, being at the center of such grievous accusations, the residence where the alleged digital propagation of this material is disseminated contradicts the very notion of a home as a haven for childhood innocence.
Further details provided by WKRN indicate that the material sent included young people who were digitally traced to Milton Walker's residence. Upon the evidence surfacing, the police executed the arrest this past Thursday afternoon, shedding light on a dark corner of the internet where anonymity often veils acts of exploitation.
