
Earlier today, tragedy unfolded in a New Braunfels Applebee’s parking lot where a shooting left a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman wounded inside a car. The New Braunfels Police Department and Fire Department, responding to the incident at around 12:20 a.m., discovered the victims with gunshot injuries. According to Herald-Zeitung, officers began life saving measures until paramedics arrived to transport the pair to Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio.
While the female victim from Comal County was reported to be in stable condition, the male, hailing from New Braunfels, remains critically but stable following the event. KSAT states the man’s condition has been listed as critical but stable, offering a sliver of hope amidst the chaos of the night’s violence. The search for the suspect responsible, conducted by local officers, so far has yielded no results. With no arrests made in the wake of the shooting, local law enforcement now asks for the public’s assistance.
New Braunfels Police Department is eager to apprehend the individual or individuals behind this violent act, with the NBPD Criminal Investigations Division actively investigating the situation.
