In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, Port Charlotte residents have a new resource for their recovery efforts—a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) located at the Port Charlotte Town Center mall. According to a recent announcement from the Charlotte County, the center is designed to offer a range of resources and support during the ongoing crisis, assisting those affected by the storm's severe impact.

Now open for business, the Port Charlotte MARC is located within the mall, across from the FYE store at 1441 Tamiami Trail. The center is staffed by representatives from local and state agencies and operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, ensuring assistance is available throughout the week. Charlotte County Transit Services is offering free rides to and from the center to provide access for residents.

To schedule a ride, residents are encouraged to call the Charlotte County Emergency Operations Center at 941-833-4000.
