A 911 call to police at 8:05 a.m. kicked off a swift response that uncovered a multi-layered dispute.
Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff King, as per CBS News Detroit, commented on the efficient work of the officers, underscoring that "At this time, there is no danger to the public. All involved parties have been identified and the weapons involved have been seized" The hospitalized individual, after sustaining a gunshot wound to his leg, was listed in critical but stable condition. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
Details of the dispute that led to the shooting remain under investigation, with multiple individuals currently detained. Chief King informed FOX 2 Detroit that the circumstances are unknown, but evidence, including shell casings indicating that at least two firearms were discharged, was recovered at the scene.
