According to Sandusky Police Chief Jared Oliver, in a statement obtained by WKYC, the shooting transpired shortly after 7:10 p.m. when a male suspect forced entry into the home, ensuring an altercation in which shots were fired, and two men were struck, one man succumbed to his injuries. In contrast, the other man was hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
