
Today, a fire rampaged through a Lansdowne apartment complex, resulting in one injury and the displacement of multiple residents. The Baltimore County Fire Department reported to the scene after flames were spotted from the second story of an apartment building at the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle. BCoFD's post indicated that people were trapped as they arrived.

The department's post served as a real-time alert, stamped with the time DT0526, suggesting that the crews were operating at the proverbial break of dawn, with the sun barely scraping the horizon as they fought the blaze. The fire brigade worked tirelessly, and their efforts resulted in the rescue of 11 pets, including nine dogs and two cats. As FOX Baltimore News reports, the incident displaced seven adults and nine children.
The fire department transported one resident to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Making a brave stand, the fire department conducted its operations without injuring any personnel. As for the source of the fire, officials have stated that the cause is still under investigation.
