
A man was shot and hospitalized in Orlando yesterday afternoon, with the suspect swiftly taken into custody by the Orlando Police Department. The shooting incident, which took place near the intersection of Conway Rd. and Curry Ford Rd., was reported to officers at approximately 3:40 p.m., as reported by WFTV. According to the authorities, upon their arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound, who was fortunately able to communicate with them.
The injured man was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. As per details gathered from WFTV, the suspect had been apprehended at the scene. Meanwhile, during the investigation, officers stumbled upon a note inside the home that was of enough concern, leading to the involvement of the Orlando Fire Department's Arson and Bomb Unit.
Upon a thorough search of the premises, Orlando Fire's Arson and Bomb experts determined that no dangerous materials were found in the home. Although a "concerning note" was found, it ultimately did not lead to the discovery of any additional threats, as detailed by WESH.
