
On Monday afternoon in Petaluma, a commotion led to the arrest of 30-year-old Logan Reece. Petaluma Police responded to reports of an altercation at the intersection of Garfield Drive and Willow Drive. As outlined by the Petaluma Police Department's Facebook post, the incident occurred around 1:56 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found Reece and allegedly discovered he was armed with a handgun. Reece, a prior convicted felon, was found in possession not just of the weapon but also of mushrooms and a device reportedly used for smoking methamphetamine, displaying all items clearly during the apprehension. A records check later confirmed Reece's felony status.
The Petaluma Police Department swiftly booked Reece into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Center. His charges included the possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
