A fatal fire erupted within a Pomona mobile home Tuesday night, igniting not just the structure but a homicide and arson investigation. Firefighters raced to the scene in the 1700 block of E. Mission Boulevard around 10:24 p.m., where they were met with intense flames devouring a mobile home in a residential park, as reported by FOXLA. The conflagration, which was fast spreading to adjacent homes, was subsequently extinguished.
Amid the smoldering wreckage, the responders discovered an adult male's body. A woman from the residence was also recovered and hurriedly taken to a local hospital. Her condition has yet to be disclosed, according to information from KTLA. The identity of the deceased man has been closely guarded, and officials have not divulged any possible motives or suspects concerning this incident.
