
A severe accident occurred in Placerville involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, which resulted in the motorcyclist sustaining life-threatening injuries. The California Highway Patrol - Valley Division Air Operations, also known as H-24, reported on their Facebook page that their crew responded to the scene of the collision in just 8 minutes following the emergency call.
In the aftermath of the impact that took place, the rider was found to have suffered significant injuries, including a compound fracture of the arm and an arterial bleed. Moreover, the victim experienced critical trauma to the pelvis. H-24 coordinated their response swiftly, landing at a nearby elementary school to facilitate the medical evacuation.
Upon arriving at the scene, the California Highway Patrol crew performed lifesaving interventions before transporting the injured motorcyclist to Sutter Roseville for further treatment. Details on the condition of the individual involved in the accident or the circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released at this point.
