Redmond residents are being asked to get creative and vote on an important community decision, naming the town’s snowplows. Five snowplows need five names, and after receiving 583 name ideas from 391 excited participants, city officials have picked the finalists. Now, it’s up to the community to choose the winners, according to the City of Redmond.
In just two weeks, Redmond showed how quickly people can come together for something fun. True to the town’s playful spirit, residents enjoyed the chance to add a bit of personality to the snowplows, something that will stick around all winter long.
“We’ve got five awesome snowplows, and they’re looking for fun, creative names that bring smiles to everyone in our community,” said the City of Redmond in its announcement. This isn’t just about naming trucks; it’s a chance to show how Redmond’s warmth comes not just from snow removal or heated sidewalks, but from the joy of working together.
