A 19-year-old man, K'Shawn K. Jimerson, has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing incident inside a Renton apartment where a 65-year-old man was killed, KING 5 reported. Court documents reveal that Jimerson allegedly stabbed the senior citizen at least once, leading to critical injuries that left the victim unconscious and blood-soaked on a couch within the residence.
After the incident, it was Jimerson who contacted 911 to report the stabbing, and he was discovered standing outside of the apartment when law enforcement arrived. Based on the gravity of the accusations and preliminary evidence, King County Prosecutors are now pushing for an increase in Jimerson's bail, which could reach $2 million. Prosecutors pointed to new video evidence in support of the bail increase, according to FOX 13 Seattle.
