McClendon. According to reports by WPXI, McClendon was fatally struck by a vehicle while trying to cross near the Inn Town Suites. The accident resulted in significant traffic disruptions, causing closures on the southbound lanes between Babcock Blvd and Ivory Avenue. In contrast, northbound traffic narrowed to a single lane from West View Avenue.
