The San Antonio Police Department, in coordination with Crime Stoppers, is seeking the public's assistance to solve a stabbing incident that resulted in the death of 47-year-old Regina Meyer Martinez. According to KSAT, Martinez was discovered with multiple stab wounds behind an apartment complex on the Northwest Side of San Antonio on February 22.
The incident took place in a wooded area along the 7200 block of Snowden Road. Reports suggest Martinez, who appeared to likely be homeless, was attacked near a homeless camp. The police are urging anyone with information to step forward and possibly to help bring to justice whoever committed this crime. Information that leads to felony arrests could be rewarded with up to $5,000 by Crime Stoppers.
Yet the San Antonio Police Department is determined to ensure that justice is sought for Martinez. Authorities were called around 2 p.m. on the day Martinez was found.
