A woman's life came to a tragic end on the Southeast Side of San Antonio after she suffered a fatal blow to the head. This incident, which transpired on Prestwick Boulevard around 8 p.m. Friday evening, has prompted a San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) investigation, as reported by MSN.
The unidentified woman, believed to be in her 30s, was leaving her vehicle when an unknown number of assailants attacked her, resulting in blunt force trauma to her head. The SAPD received a call concerning a disturbance, and upon their arrival, she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to information provided by KSAT. A neighboring resident reported hearing yelling and an altercation, which led to them firing at the victim's vehicle without a clear understanding of the unfolding situation.
Witnesses at the scene also reported seeing individuals fleeing from the area where the woman was discovered.
