As reported by FOX San Antonio, the incident took place around 1 p.m. when an individual stole items from the store and subsequently assaulted a 52-year-old employee who attempted to confront the suspect.
Authorities are seeking public assistance in capturing the suspect. To facilitate this, Crime Stoppers has announced a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. The public is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 244-STOP with any relevant details. As per details relayed by News 4 San Antonio, the suspect was last seen fleeing the scene in a black Honda HRV.
Investigators have not yet released a detailed description of the suspect, nor have they disclosed specifics about the stolen items. The assaulted employee, whose identity remains anonymous for their safety, was treated for their injuries and is reportedly in stable condition.
