San Antonio's bar scene is set to expand with the introduction of a new venue that features a Ferris wheel. The team behind the successful Elsewhere bar is expanding their concept to the Northside. "We're bringing the magic of Elsewhere to San Antonio's Northside," said co-owner Terrin Fuhrmann in a Facebook post quoted by MySA. The groundbreaking ceremony is set for Thursday.
Complete with a 52-foot Ferris wheel, the new establishment known as Elsewhere Too, is announced to be situated at 4507 N Loop 1604 W Access Road, near NW Military Highway by Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Picks Bar. The development was first mentioned back in 2022, with Fuhrmann and co-owner Nolan Ellis expecting to open the doors in mid to late 2023. Now aiming for a June 2025 launch, the bar is designed to include a 370-square-foot bar area and a 2,500-square-foot old Victorian greenhouse, which They plan to be used for private events and weddings, according to statements obtained by MySA.
Food enthusiasts have noted the news of Elsewhere Too, along with local culinary festivals. In an interview with MySA, Fuhrmann discussed his commitment to expanding the business in his hometown, where he has observed significant growth. Elsewhere Too will feature attractions including a Ferris wheel, a 42-foot curved flower tunnel at the entrance, a large LED screen for sports, fire pits, swings, covered seating, and a secret garden next to a natural pool that resembles a large pond.
